Good times from Thanksgiving.

I wanted to get some at night of a whole clip but the time we did go out it was raining. Maybe next time.

It's the flying casings that make the first shot... nice color and composition on the second. I like how you used the other pumpkin carcass back and off center to direct our eyes through the image.

Okay seriously... nice pics. What camera? And those are casings I'm seeing in the top pic right?

Looks like.

But that's an awful fast double tap, to be able to catch both in one frame...

Mattin, I shot this with a Canon 20D and the cheap ass 50mm 1.8 lense. For as cheap as that lens is it sure does do some good shots. Yes, those are casings in the air and you can barely see one still in the chamber ready to come flying out. The picture would have been clearer if it wasn't so dark out.

GenJerDan, my brother was shooting at full speed through the entire clip. I can't wait to get my HVX and shoot some of this stuff in 60p.

Iced Out, not if you want to hit what your aiming at. I would rather live out in the forest and go shooting than spend my time in a rang, which is what I have to do in the city. Out there you can shoot at whatever you bring up there. As long as your being careful its isn't a problem.

Kai, yes I am a fan of the Glock. I love that gun, its so easy to use and clean. Plus its very lite. The model 19 is the one I got. I'm going to try and get some more pictures of it during Christmas. Maybe some footage with the HVX, if I'm lucky.

I lived in the country during highschool... and yeah, that's country behavior alright. I only had 3 guns. I was in the minority. You don't want to F with some drunk redneck in a bar out in the country... if his gun isn't ON HIM then he's got 2 in the truck.

On the one hand you see in the inspiration for movies like Red Dawn... but then you also meet the people who inspired movies like Deliverance. I guess there's good and bad everywhere.

FWIW I had a .22 mag and I could hit a bottle cap pretty consistently at 40'... I thought that was impressive at the time. Considering it had a 4" barrel... and it was an H&R piece of crap. .22 mag is super accurate though... good target round.

Sounds like you at least had fun out in the country. I live in the city now and I always look forward to going up to where I use to live. BTW I use to live in Placerville, which is right by Tahoe. Fun place to shoot off guns and go snowboarding.
