Since I suspect you are looking for the wide field of view the 14mm lens gives on a 35mm SLR camera, the answer is NO.
The EF adapter merely allows the lens to be used on the camera and maintain the auto iris and auto focus functions, it does not act like one of the "adapters" that are the subject of so much discussion.
The picture you will get will look exactly like the one you get if you set the 20X zoom that comes with the camera to a focal length of 14mm, some where between normal and moderate telephoto field of view.
The primary use for the adapter would be to use lenses of focal lengths longer than the standard zoom lens for nature, sports etc.

Bill, is your company going to make an wide angle adapter for the Canon?
