Hey all!
Its been a while since I've been on this forum because I've switched to still photography and no longer do video as a business, but now only for pleasure.
The wedding photography industry is freakin' awesome and I've totally learned a ton since I started in June of '05.
I wanted to let you know of a program that my friend produced that some of you may be interested in. He built it mainly so that he could create a slideshow that he could easily upload to his website the day after the wedding, so that his clients could see some photos and be happy until he had time to edit the entire event.
the program resizes a folder of images and creates an html page with a flash based slideshow on it that you can customize pans and zooms on for each photo and then choose a custom mp3 file to use as background music. And you can create it all within about 10 minutes.
I use a slideshow solely for my portfolio now. No more click through portfolios. They don't have enough emotion. Music and zooms add so much.
Here's my portfolio slideshow: http://www.jeffersontodd.com/slideshows/favs/
Take a look at it. Is it not freakin' awesome?!!
Feel free to check out www.showitfast.com to get a demo of the program or to purchase. Also, it's good for Mac or PC!!
God Bless,
Jefferson Todd
