Request: Please increase the time limit..?

Will you guys please seriously consider increasing the Sci-Fi short film time to 10min instead of the current 6min.

We have a wonderful script and started test-shooting last night, but to tell the story effectively will require more than 6 min.

Many excited college theater students and faculty await your decision.

The time limit is part of the contest. Can you tell a compelling story in only 6 minutes? To increase that would be to take a portion of the skill test away, IMO.

There's no way they'd consider increasing the time limit. With 80 entries in the ZombieFest, at 10 minues each that would have taken 800 minutes, or over 13 hours, for people to watch 'em all. There will probably be even more entries in the Sci-Fi fest. Longer time limits make the fest unwieldly.

I'm surprised it's still six minutes, I thought we were supposed to drop it back to 5?
