Just got a super 8 and no film. Can anyone tell me the average price per roll? Right now it looks like about 16 bucks. If anyone knows any cheaper place let me know please. thanks.

You might want to give Spectra a call. They sell super 8 neg film with processing for about 30.00 per roll. That comes out at a good price, especially considering the quality of their services. In addition, they are very knowledgeable and a good source for questions about shooting film.

PheelGoodInc, that is about the cheapest route. If you are a student, you can buy 5 rolls or more directly from Kodak with a STUDENT DISCOUNT, which rocks. If you are adventurous, you could buy a processing tank and save like crazy and even make a dime or two doing it for friends, and associates!

i really don't know what i'm talking about, but i was getting drinks with this guy who was involved in a super 8 film festival in buffalo new york and he was saying something about kodak coming out with some badass super 8 that was still cartridge based and looked a little better than 16. I'm too lazy to be detective here...lol

I think it is the Ektachrome 64T. My kodak rep shot me down a few to sample. I'll come back and let you know how it turns out, maybe a screenshot or 4!
