This is an old short I DP'ed for. I did it a year ago and shot it with the PD-170. I was actually impressed with how well the camera worked, especially in low light, although, as you can see, there is still grain during the drinking scene.

If you have any comments on the story I DIDN'T direct it or write it. All I did was DP. So, if you want to butcher the story, go right ahead. Anyways, you need DIVX and I'm sorry it's a WMP file. Sue me. Also, when I was putting it together in Windows Movie Maker it ended up messing up on me and a few of the scenes are out of place. My apologies....it ruins the mood of it, plus I didn't notice this problem until after I uploaded. I should check my files in the future. Here it goes:

I liked it. I liked the stylistic choice of going black and white. It creates a certain degree of mystery, especially because it's tough to tell what's just around the corner. The story had a couple confusing points but I won't deal with that. It's good work.

Thanks Isaac. I appreciate your comments. The choice of black and white was a stylistic choice of the director when he thought I shot the whole piece a little too dark, so to reduce the "grain" of the colorometry, he wanted to turn it black and white....I think it was better in the end.
