So the title probably tells it all. I'm helping a guy out with a doc which is about a man's complete physical transition into becoming a woman. He/She is giving his/her last pre-op performance this weekend at a drag club. With all the colored lights and strobe lights which I think will be present, what is the best way to shoot this? Any hints about how to make sure the skin tones don't go completely berserk with the different colored lights? Thanks in advance guys.

Most of the time I shoot in clubs, or concerts I go pre set 3200. It is really about the only time I do. THose colors in the lights ad to the ambiance of the place, and especially for a doc should work. If he/she spends alot of time in a dressing room, I would absolutely balence to what you like, but roaming ina club, go with the funkyness, it usually works out quite nice.

Although just be careful of reds, they are a bit nasty if they are the only light colour.
