All the images on this poster were shot with the DVX. It's for a 18 min comedy/horror we shot last month, submitting it to the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Film Festival.

Overall it looks great. Composition and concept.

- Stock lens flare is a no-no
- I think that the front characters should be crisper, no soft filter
- the poster lacks an overall color scheme
- try matching the skin tones a litte more
- The red title font lacks a little definition

This are some nit picky things. It is very subjective, so take these critiques for what they are worth. :engel017:

When can we see the film? I have to know if the man-beast gets the girl or not!

I second everything, especially the lens flare thing. Totally distracting and seems pointless. Good job, I remember seeing the trailer. Good to see it's getting submitted.

The stock lens flare was added for pure campiness. Someone said it looked like an 80's Goonies type poster. Please try and realize how funny a stock lens flare can be.

"Can a man-beast with the IQ of an 8-year-old find true love?"

It worked for me.

Cool poster!

LOL

Funky concept! Like it!

As for the poster, didn't like it so much. Its not blended well. The actors look more like Colorforms than anything.

I don't really unerstand why you have a lens flare on the bottom of the poster either. Odd choice.

I think you just need to smooth it out a bit, blend the blacks more . The images just aren't gelling together for me.
