(Don't take this the wrong way) Is it possible to post some of Mc dermitt's videos? What about "speed of light" I'm pretty sure we all seen COTA! Everyone's constantly surfing your site!

Now that is what I am talking about. Excellent DOF. This is the type of stuff I eventually want to get into with my DVZ100a (when I get it)
what exactly do you mean by done completely "guirilla"? Do you mean the Guerilla 35 adapter?

im not gonna take it the wrong way at all... matt is a talented guy but his speed of light video never got completed... and what was completed did not turn out good at all...i have behind the scenes disaster stuff but i prob wont throw it online... so the project was scrapped and thats why moving to the city was made... because there budget was spent on a half a video and there was 7 days of shooting for half the video prob would have been a 15 day shoot in total.... for a 3.5min song! but in any event you'll get to see his new vids pretty soon ... he and i dont talk anymore but i wish him the best with his new works... his bbs vid has been in post for a month and will be done soon as well as another.. so sit tight im sure his .com w/ be up and running really soon. And if you curious about stuart too.. he is in pre production on a short film 30minutes in length and its going to be reallly amazing, so if your in or around the LA area he could really use help so email him at info@digitalinterference.net

You telling me you wouldn't shoot a Backstreet Boys video if it was offered to you?
:)
We can all make fun of it if we want... but I guarantee you most of us here would be lining up to do it if we could.

Actually their was a smiley at the beginning of my post...
But rethinking: All the music video directors I admire did only bands/acts I could relate with - hopefully Iīll go my way without to many compromises, too.
But you know sth Luis:
I donīt care who you are,
where you from,
donīt care what you did,
- as long as you love me...!
--- insert smileys here ---
PS i still would be interested in the background story of this eclat...

You know, I just did a video for band that I've known who they were for almost 10 years and wasn't too fond of them, but now that the video's done...
The song, I still could take it or leave it. But the band? The guys are great. I'm glad I had the chance to meet them. Super glad I got to do their vid. So all in all, I'm glad I put my prejudices away and just took the job.

What focal lengths of Nikons did you use, and or what do you feel is the best lens combo for the mini?

That looked great! How did you get that greenish tint on everyone? Was that done with magic bullet? If so what setting? What type of lights did you use to shoot the band in the field? Was there any perticular settings you used on the camera?
my 0.02 cents? I love to see real F^()ing talent on this message board.
good going man, nice work.
really.
No budget you say....
Holy F*CKIN' SHIT, I say.
Very nice dude. Keep it up.

Good work. Keep it up.
wasn't too thrilled with the music, but the visuals were nice. Thought the green look was fitting, but a slightly less saturated image would be less distracting. Just a thought.
Alright dude, I just signed up to say that that video was VERY nice. Good freakin' job. I'm gettin an XL2, so seeing clips like that really boosts my confidence in my purchase.
