Could I use my EF EOS lenses on the H1? Are they good enough to resolve HD?

I donīt know if you can attach 35mm glass on your camcorder, but any pro 35mm glass can resolve around 10MP and isnīt HD around 2MP?

Your EOS lenses will fit the H1. The mount is the same as the XL1 and XL2. The only accessory you will have to use is the EF adapter. These lenses work very well with the Canon XL series cameras. However, they are totally manual and have a near 8 times magnification factor.
From the non technical test's I've made, it appears that they will resolve enough for HD. I think newbie is correct.

Yeah,but 2MP magnified by 7.2 is 14.4 which is more than 10 :)

Very true. In fact the magnification factor for the H1 is closer to 7.8, I believe, which would increase the problem. My tests were made with a resolution chart, comparing the 300 2.8 Canon EF lens and a 35mm camera and an Xl1 with the same lens. Of course the 35mm was far better than the XL1 tapes. However the resolution appeared to be adequate. Maybe it's just wishfull thinking!

New info on www.dvinfo.net under Community > Affordable HD > JVC GY HD100 > Tamron Lens Results.
Canon L and Nikon E lenses are far superior to the Tamron lenses and, I would think, would give even better resolution than what is shown in the pics.
Hopefully, comparable subjects and conditions will be shown later.
