Check out this quirky comedy produced by Ragtag Productions. Shot on 16mm a year ago. Quality isn't too great, but it's pretty funny. So if you like funny and the 80's cheese-fest "Breakin'" then you might like this.

Pretty funny. This was shot on 16? For some reason it looked like DV to me. Probably because of the compression or something.

Yeah it's 16mm. Not one of my best jobs as a DP on that film.

It's true-- pretty darn funny. But writing comedy is easy, right? wink.

1) that TOTALLY looks like DV. ( must be the compression )
2) that chick with the rainbow vest is smokin' hot ( in my opinion )
EDIT* i take that back... after watching it in WMP @ 200% it does look like film. :engel017:

Yeah it's way flat. I don't even know why I put it up online, haha. The WMV compression I did doesn't help it all either. But at least everyone is finding it funny.
Oh, and Reflex, if you think the chick with the rainbow vest is hot, check her out in our latest short, "Double Dip or: How Four Discs of Pearl Harbor Ruined My Life" right here http://www.ragtagfilms.net/movies/doubledip/DoubleDip.wmv

hey im glad you put that up !!! It was funny, and I have to jump on the bandwagon, Ginger Kearns is super mega pimpin hot, we should start a fan club for that girl. I liked your double dip movie too, I almost got in trouble buying the Sin City barebones, but so far I have been able to resist, but believe me I know that im one purchase away from snorting coke off some hot prostitute with bubble wrap stuffed in my crotch, its such a fine line.
I liked your site as well, you guys are putting out some great work, is there anywhere I can see Alpha dead?

Hey Yaso,
Glad you liked the film and thought it was funny. I wished it looked better. But yeah, a lot of people are creaming for Ginger Kearns. She's great. I've worked with her on a lot of films, including my senior film from 2 years ago. Unfortunately we couldn't find a role for her in our latest competition film, "My Imaginary Friend Lars Stevens," but she'll definitely have a role in whatever future production we do. As for "Alpha Dead, " that isn't one of our films. Great idea and title, but crappy movie. I'll talk to Steve, the writer of "Alpha Dead," and see if he knows where you can watch it.

man, i just traveled back in time to the 80's. good stuff. Seriously... the picture didn't bother me as much. the story was engaging enough that it distracted me from the overall look. It had a ghost world feel to it. dry and sarcastic undertone. I liked it. Yeah, whoever the girl was, she's cute. The breakdancing crew was pretty good.. both in dancing and overacting. nice job.

I don't like break dancing.
-Well you're a bad person.
It was distractive in 4:3, but the delivery of those lines made my day.
