I have been taking a B&W photo class which is amazing so far. But we have been learning to 'burn' & 'dodge' and I have also been croping a lot. So, in a sense we are editing our pictures.

Now I'm wanting to print some of my digital images.
-Where should I take them or have them sent off to, to have them printed?
-What generally do you look for in a digital image to edit besides croping, your horizon, and some color correction?
-What do you do in color correction?

I have actually heard people get great results getting their digital stuff printed at costco. Apparently, they calibrate their stuff every day....

Any lab will do well for you, providing that you have your monitor calibrated to their output device and tell them NOT to do any color correction. If you don't have a calibrated system it's worth taking the image to a lab that knows what they're doing so they can correct and print the image for you.

Editing and color correction depend entirely on the image...it's different every time. Did you have a specific image you were thinking of?
