looked back a few pages and didn't see any topics on this.
anyway, looks great, but several shots feature some shallow focus. And some shots look really wide. Are these shots accomplished with the cameras lens or did they cheat with wide angle lenses and mini35 gear?

Are you talking about the commercial about the director who's kept waiting? If so, that was shot several months ago, on a VariCam. It's a commercial ABOUT the HVX, not SHOT BY the HVX...

Damnit, of coarse they would shoot a commercial showcasing their new camera with a different, $63,000 camera.
Anyone have $60,000 I can borrow? really, just borrow...

You kind of have to allow for that kind of thing... when the commercial was shot, there wasn't even an HVX prototype yet...
