Im transfering some footage from my DVX to a crappy consumer sony for my boss, however, since im using RCA to transfer the footage, im just recording the footage straight from the LCD on my DVX, therefore whatever is on the screen will be recorded when transfered, including the timecode of the footage. Any way to "hide" the TC so I can have just a blank screen. Thanks

There's an option in the menu for Video OSD (on-screen-display) -- make sure to turn that OFF.

damn, I found out how to hide the TC, but the "play" icon is still on screen, any way to hide that as well? Its the only OSD left.
