I'm building my own flo set - I have my fixtures already - but I came across 2 separate sources for Flos.

The Full Spectrum Naturallight F32T8, 5500K 91 CRI 2400 Lumen for $9.50 a pop

and the

Sunalux F-32-T8-plus SW 5550K 93 CRI 2700 Lumen for $20.00 a pop

Is 2 CRI points, 50k, and 300 Lumens per bulb really going to matter much in a 2 (3 if I'm lucky) 2X2 bank set up for a daylight shoot to warrant paying twice as much per bulb? I'm thinking that with such a small difference I'd probably be better off with the slightly cheaper ones and buying extra bulbs and even building an extra bank if necessary for what might be a night shoot...but maybe I'm missing something.

I'm still building it - but it should be done this week or early next week when the bulbs get in. I should rephrase when I say I have my fixtures ready I mean I have them in my possession - I haven't actually mounted them on a C Mount or lighting stand yet, though its not going to be terribly hard. The stands are still in the mail. But yea when they're done I'll post some pics.

Those tubes sound expensive. I just bought a case of 25 Philips TL950's (T8, 32W, 5500K, 98CRI) for $140 CAN, that's around $5.00 a bulb US. I ordered them from a local electrical supplier.
