View Full Version : Mixing & Matching (Calibrated) Monitors?

I have 2x Apple Cinema Displays (2008-2010 24" LED), and want to add a third main/central display for video editing in Premiere Pro.

All will be calibrated with X-Rite i1 Display Pro.

Obviously the 3rd middle monitor will be different: likely an Asus (IPS, 100% sRGB) or BenQ SW2700PT.

Does it matter that they mixed pairs for grading? (corporate web delivery work to consumer devices. Not broadcast or cinema. Not a true 10-bit SDI pipeline). Or could this actually be a plus? (one Cinema Display will be a permanent full screen Premiere Pro output preview; the central will have the sequence viewer and timeline, but I can go full screen here as well to compare between both monitors).

Thanks for the help.
