I found this article about the Canon 24fps system. Is a pretty good explaination.

Yeah, I thought it was interesting. The vertical resolution of 24f is a big question. We'll see, I quess.

One should point out however, that the article is entirely supposition - with no actual evidence or analysis.

Aye - it's interesting, but "EXPLAINED" is a bit of a misnomer. It's really a Steve Mullen summary of "POSTULATES". The scientist in me is offended by the description of theories as facts.

Are we reading the same article. Nowhere in the article did I see that the author claimed that what he "POSTULATES" is fact. I think that he is very clear that he is explaining options for achieving the desired 24fps HDV. He is clear that until Canon release the specs, we will not know.
