Another Philly area meetup?

I saw an older thread about the tri-state meetup that happened a few months ago in NJ and I was wondering if there were any plans for another? I don't have any equipment yet just a strong desire to be a part of a project and help out any way I can. I'd love to network and meet people with the same passion and these meetings seem like a great opportunity to do so. So I suppose this post has two purposes; 1). Are there any plans for another meetup and 2). Any filmmakers need a hand with their project? whether it be for acting or setting up.. or anything really. I hope to get to meet some of you : )

Hey heres the guy who does the meeting his username is 'coffee'. He has the meetings up in North Jersey. I want to go to one also but just seem to have not been able to go. Contact him hes cool and will let you know when the meetings are. There has been one that I know about that happened. Anyway Im interested in the same...camera work or acting also. I am a teacher looking to set up an editing class so if you find anything let me know and I will let you know. I don't care if I get paid or not. But thats me...lol good luck

Hey thanks for the information. I have the same attitude towards film production, the money is not important.. just the chance to help put something together is fine enough for me. Im really looking at this as a serious hobby and whatever becomes of it so be it. i'll keep my eyes open on this board for any future dates. If there is another meeting and you're still interested, let me know and we can split the gas money for the trip. Thanks again.

I am sure there are DVXusers in the Philly area because I often see them when I am out on shoots around the city. Maybe they should have one in or around Philadelphia for those folks.....just a suggestion.
