Whenever I switch from auto iris to manual iris and try to use the iris wheel, it behaves totally erratically. Sometimes when I roll it it goes down to full open, sometimes it behaves roughly normally, and sometimes it closes the iris. I can't control it, though...it has a mind of its own.
I remember someone else had this problem. Does anyone know what the solution is? Yes, I know how it SHOULD be behaving, I've used a whole bunch of dvx100's and 100a's. It's not behaving normally on mine.
Also, any way to flash the firmware (all user settings) and bring the camera back to normal, everything how it was when it shipped (except the hour meter, of course...I know you can't hack that.)
