Laugh at me, but here is a video I shot many months ago with a Sony Digital 8 camera.

I just bought a better camera(NV-GS400), and have produced a better video of the same nature with it, I just have to get around to encoding it for online play.
Looked nice. Good work with the tools you have.
A better tripod may be a good idea to go with the new camera though. Also, I would trim a few of the more jerky pieces of footage. I found it very relaing to watch, but maybe have a better start - an establishing shot to show the location, even if it is your back garden.

That was pretty impressive. Good job. :D

nothing really wrong with the tripod I was using, it was a $600 or so dollar bogen manfrotto set of legs with another rather expensive fluid video head. I was just bad at using it at the time. I've learned the magic of shutter speed since.

Awesome dude! This goes to show that you can make any video look nice, if lit right with good composition.

the only thing that made me fart was the zooming.
other than that, great!

yeah, that zooming part makes me cringe too. Heres to higher shutter speed and better codecs!
