Hi guys and gals,

I've encoded some footage of an XL-H1 demonstration that took place at Resfeset Chicago. This was a personal demonstration so you'll get to see pretty much everything.

Did I see an HVX200 through the viewfinder at one point?

"Soy Chai Latte?"

"Yeah, lemme give you some cash!"

Haha... no, really though... that's cool of you to get that much in-depth info and then host it on your site for everyone. I wish someone would do that with the HVX, but I'm not sure there's much we don't know (that they'll tell us, anyway) at this point...

I thank You, Stephen. If I understand it right, the camera has got a CinemaScope mode - that would be great indeed.

Robert, my understanding is that "cinemascope aspect's" function is to place the framing markers on the screen. This allows proper framing for an eventual crop in post production.

But technically it could not be so difficult, to set a CinemaScope mode into the hardware. However, a great idea from Canon.
