Panasonic.com states December 2005, while Panasonic Europe states March 2006 - that is a difference of three months? Can that be?

Because us PAL boys are not as important as the NTSC shooters.

It is unfortunately true.
The Us wil deliver in December and the PAL unit will deliver in the Feb/March time frame.

Hey, don't forget, you got the HD100 two months before the US guys did...

Barry, You meant, that we got the split screen two month before You US guys did... Well, that was a blessing.
I do not worry, that the HVX will arrive three months later here in Europe. So we have not to be the "pigs to test it with". :-)

Sure can be.
Panasonic Europe is the land of lazy guys.

Panasonic really are the worst broadcast manufacturer for the NTSC ............ PAL turnaround. I love Panasonic products, but Panasonic Broadcast in Europe can't even be bothered to keep the English version of the website up to date... and my German is limited to asking what the time is.
Do you even want our custom, Panasonic?

Excuse me? I beg to differ. This is really a bit disturbing to hear that you think that we, in the US are the worst bradcast manufacturer, and yet Panasonic is a major supplier for broadcast customers in the US. Would you like to substantiate this claim?
As far as the website, ours in the US is one of the best and our web team consistantly receives kudos. As far as the European site, I do not know. I will pass your comment along to them however.
Thanks,

TO JAN:
I think what Alex meant was that Panasonic is the worst company that does the NTSC to PAL turnaround - meaning they are the slowest to come up with a PAL version after they have come up with NTSC versions, although I could be wrong, but reading his/her (Alex is a unisex name!) comments after the first line about the website, what I got from his/her words is that they come up with the PAL version so late that they dont even bother updating the website. Again, I could be wrong. I've been told that my logic (or lack there of) is really messed up.

That's how I read it too.

Thanks,
Us Site is great, I can't say the same for the european and the italian site.
Pages are not updated, there always many errors describing products and in Italy for example you can buy direct from them, it's a shame in 2005 you don t have an e-commerce site to sell your product.
Panasonic products are great but many of the people who work in Europe and Italy don't deserve to stay there.

I have to correct this statement, it seems is available the on line shop, not full of products but it's a good starting point.

Whoops! Sorry Jan! That isn't what I meant at all. I think Panasonic products are great. They're well thought-out and I'm impressed with the features and innovation that Panasonic pushes.
My only gripe is that I have to wait slightly longer for them over here in Europe!

...and I'm a "he" incidentally to those who were speculating.
Sorry for any confusion in my writing.
