I am in the process of trying to get my hands on a 100A, since I fell in love with it the first time I shot. I edit with premiere, and other programs

Nice to meet you too man. Right now I own a dvx100a. I'll make a list of the equippment that I'm working on gathering:

dvx100a
35MM lens adapter
35mm lenses
bogen 503 head with dolly
manfrotto 525mvb legs
bags and cases for everything of course

Sooner or later I plan on getting some more stuff:
some softboxes and other basic lighting equippment (reflectors, etc)
sooner or later - a decent shotgun mic and boom
a basic home made track system

I really haven't shot THAT much. Infact I don't have any polished material. I'm working on shooting a comical fake sausage commercial for practice and such. Right now I'm editing with vegas and after effects. I do most of my capturing with the trial version of DVRack. I plan on purchasing that when my trial runs out.

I'd like to do some film work (starting with short films) and maybe some music videos. Right now I do alot of graphic design and web development for bands, so I've got a decent foothold in the services-for-bands-and-record-label business. We're building a place in Rockport Texas right now. On the 17th of this month I'll be flying to florida for about 2 weeks. Then after that I should be back here for a decent while. Until april at least.

I'd really love to get involved in some sort of project near corpus christi. Right now I don't really have a car, so I can't travel very much. That really puts a damper on things unfortunately.

I gotta roll for now. I'll talk to you guys later!
Bye bye!
-Jeff

Aye. I really haven't been able to shoot anything. There's like NO ONE around here who's interested in the same stuff I'm into. I'd love to do pretty much anything. Commercials, music videos, short films, weddings, any video production, really. Got any projects you might want any help on? I'm really looking to do pretty much anything to gain experience. Up till now I've never worked with any sort of crew, and I really haven't done any real solo projects either. Let me know guys!
