have you ever watched a film more than 15 times?
for example your favourite film. which is that?

I think I have seen the Lost In Translation more than 20 times. That is my personal favourite film.

There are a couple VHS tapes I wore out, however many viewings that may be:

White Men Can't Jump
A River Runs Through It (I put it on when I wanted to take a nap -- I'd be passed out by the time the boys were adults)
Star Wars (of course)

I think I've watched The Warriors at least twenty times. Oh yeah, when I was a kid, I watched Rocky II almost every time it came on HBO one summer. Back then it was like two times a day.

I think I've watched Halloween more than any other movie. I watched it again last week, just to dissect Dean Cundey's lighting. It was educational, to say the least.

When I was in college I lived right by a highway, so I now need to fall asleep with noise in the background.

Every night I go to bed watching Fight Club and have for the past 2 years... So you could say that I have seen that movie over 600 times. It is one of my fave films of all time though.

You stole my thunder on the Bogart legacy. I screen Casablanca a "couple-a-three" times each year...actually "screen" is the wrong word. What I meant to say is that I exist on another emotional plane of existence for roughly 102 minutes. (At least a hundred viewings thus far.)

I have to agree. The 80's hate a lot of greats. I was watching Lucas the other week. I forgot how "80's" it looked. Of course the last time I saw was probably then. Speaking of 80's I am going to add Footloose to my list! I love Kevin Bacon movies. Except for the Woodsman. That kind of freaked me out a bit.

It's not "European" but French
you know this movie in the US?!!!!! wow most of the times you don't know our movies or you make an US version of them just as "Un Indien dans la Ville" has become "Un Indien à New York" (an Indian in New York, well I don't know the English title) or as "les Visiteurs", such a good and funny movie where two men from Middle Ages are sent to 1990's, from a History tipically European, you made "les Visiteurs en Amérique" (the Visitors in the US, or whatever the English title is!).
wow I'm so surprised to see that you know one of our movies! Is Sami Naceri still the main character of the movie?!!!! lol

I'm not much of a multi-watcher, but I've watched ALL of the Star Wars movies so many times it's unthinkable. And that was before my son got into em and I watched em a hundered times more. He wanted to see Episode III in theaters 5 times, and he asks about once a week when we'll have it on DVD. He's looking very much forward to seeing Yoda into hiding in the extras. I have him on (DVX) tape answering Star Wars trivia at age 3 (he's 4 now) like "What color is Luke's light saber"....."Blue and Green"......."Which one is it blue in?" "Jawas" (what he calles New Hope)...."Which one is it green in?"......"Ewoks". Just for the record, he calls Empire "Doggie Doggie Robot Feet" because of the AT-ATs. We've watched them together many, many times, as I've been home with him every day for most of his life. He asks the most amazing questions about whats going on....I guarantee you that Star Wars has created more synaptic connections in his brain that anything else, and he genuinely "gets" the morals of it all, right down to Aniken turning into a "bad boy". He even knows that it's wrong for C3-P0 to kick R2....when he first started watching it, he would say "3P0 needs a spankin".

I watch Star Wars to learn how to live, and to gain knowledge of The Living Force.....that shit is real.
