Hi, can any one give some help on this sound echo problem. I have a external studio mic set up, going into Input 1, set phantom+ on, and i get a sound echo, so i set it up on a mixer same problem, so i tried my old Trusty Sony, and it is fine. I the recorded internal to the SD Card on the X200 and its better. I want to have the audio go out on the SDI so it is all in Sync. here is the file - https://vimeo.com/166668865

If you are monitoring via the SDI, then it's normal to have a small delay - not an echo, it's an echo if it then gets picked up by the camera and the chain starts all over again. Sound people have a constant battle with latency from digital to analogue conversions. All the digital outputs have a latency - it's only a small number of frames, but often there's another delay getting it back to analogue, of course. The secret is using the analogue output of the camera and feeding this to the monitoring system without any digital state. However, if you are viewing the image via SDI, then the sound and vision will be out of sync there. Your choice really.
