Great short, man!
I loved the whole officespace vibe that came from the boss!
The spinaround shot when hanz disappears was really cool. Nice and smooth.
What was up with the plasma screen when he walks into the room with the soul cube in it? haha
The S'n'm mask kinda creeped me out! was that an ode to pulp fiction?
I loved the HR Storage. That had me laughing so hard
There wasn't anything that stuck out and bothered me, other than minor issues with timing, but they weren't bad. I think you did a really good job! Keep it up!

Really cool film, man. Totally original and involving. Quite funny too! The boss character played it just right.
We've seen a lot of "corporate" takes on the zombie theme in this contest, but they've all had quite unique voices and yours is no exception. I was baffled by the soul cube, S&M mask, "genetics" screensaver.... which is why I enjoyed it. :)

This is minor, but you had some kind of what mask move out of frame at the very beginning, but there was no camera movement ... what was up with that?
The opening dolly shot coming into the new guy's cubicle looked like it was done on a regular office cart or something else with hard wheels. In the future, I'd use something with larger, deflated tires so you're not getting that small bounce that you did in this shot. Bounce is fine, if it looks like it's on purpose or for emotional/hightened effect, but I think you were trying for glassy in this one.
No clue what the purpose of the plasma screen on the wall's for. Also, what's the sound coming from the Soul Cube? It's empty. At around 2.50, when the German looks like he's having an orgasm standing there over the new guy's knocked-out body was just freaky ... followed up by the S&M mas, closed up into a tight box ... AUGH! Trippy, dude.
Some good camera work, production value, acting, etc. Great job ... even though it gave me the creeps. :)

Was that german wearing an east german uniform thus ruining the whole nazi feel to that character?? just kidding.. great short. Except during the scene that envision pointed out where the german was enjoying it a little too much. Good story without too many problems.

Uhh, dude, I've seen this before.
It was posted awhile ago in the screen grabs section way back in february

Heres what I wrote last time. And are you still going to work on the sound?
"Ha, that was hilarious. Nothing is better than when you mix a twist of nazi's, zombies, and supernatural. Reminds me of the last Wolfenstein game.
I agree with John. color correct this bad boy. I really needs it because this should be such a moody piece. And yes the sound needs alot of work, but you already saaid you'd work on that.
I can't wait to see a more polished version. Horror/Comedy shorts are the best!"

Original stuff. Very Fillini-esque. I thought the mouse maze concept was clever. Good camera, sound, and editing work.

I also saw this many months back. It is well done. It was kind of boring to me, but that's probably because I've seen it before and already knew what was going to happen. It just kinda lagged for me. Good job though.

I can see the Fellini analogy, but felt more of a Kubrick vibe happening.
Quite possible there should be a new mini contest among the office-based zombie flicks...'Drive-Slow-Zombies-At-Work-Fest'.
If there were such a competion, rest assured that Induction would be in the running.
Nice job.

...For the feedback, guys. Yes it was originally put up a few months back, I guess in the end I didn't do a major colour correct on it because I just wanted it to look like reality....at least my reality! Same for why the office is so well lit at night instead of maybe a moody single light - offices are always well lit even if you're the last person in them!
I did re-edit it though, made it a fair bit darker. The original version was bipolar in its jump from happy happy to wierd wierder. I had always intended for it to be dark (in spirit)
Just FYI, that is where I work, that is my actual boss, that was my actual desk (I'm in a goldfish bowl now). Total cost to make was around the $500 mark.
If you're interested, there's a few more of my shorts on www.lostsheep.com.
Got a really bizarre one in the pipeline (but no s&m nazis this time!)
And if you're in Sydney Australia and want to share a couple of beers and chat about fimmaking then drop me an email!
Cheers!

I like when Hans dissappeared, funny, when he came back as a Nazi, licking his lips, I didn't like Hans anymore.
Otherwise it was done well, something out of the ordinary, which I liked. Not your typical zombie film, if there is such thing as one.
Nice work.
