I've searched for a while now, and while trying to compile a decent list of action verbs a director might use while breaking down a script, or better explaining what goals an actor might be trying to achieve, i've found nothing but tons of "Resume Improvement action verbs" just curiuos if anyone here has any lists or links to where I may be able to find some good useable, common verbs. Thanks to anyone who can help.

my email,

thanks in advance. i'll check back.

Appendix C of the book "Directing Actors" by Judith Weston lists about 200 action verbs.

Some examples:

All of the above have applications in production meetings, too. Why let the actors have all the fun?
