Two GL3 models?

What do you think about Canon introducing two mid-range camcorders, one SD model based on the XL2 and an HDV model based on the XLH1?

Would they sell? Do they have different markets, especially if there's a big price difference?

That sounds interesting.
The XL2 and XL1h coexist in similar fashion.
The SD model could comptete with Panny's DVX100b, and the HDV model would be positioned to compliment the XLH1 while providing the ideal step up solution to those who will move from SD to HD.
