Hi,
I am a new member on dvx user.com and i have a question about the micro 35 adaptor. But first i want to tell you, that i am from Germany, so i don't know English very well. My question: I 'll buy the micro 35, but i don't know which lens i should buy for it. I really need Help from you, because i have no idea. Please help me or send me some links of other threads about this question. Thanks :)

Yea... I too am contemplating this investment........ my concern is do I need an adapter of some kind before I install the lens and, as per the last post, what kind of lenses does the micro35 adap. take.
Is it true with this adapter installed on my DVX-100A that my eye piece and LCD screen will see the results upside down?
Thanks
Chris

Dandoo,
You need to go to redrockmicro.com and look at the community forum for the micro35. They have a section that specifically will answer your questions. Depending on what kind of lens adapter you want them to attach(Nikon, Canon, etc.), you could then make a decision to buy those kinds of lenses. Nikons are the cheapest and easiest to find, in my opinion. You should look for "manual" SLR lenses, since auto-focus lenses will be rendered obselete, and will not auto focus anyway with the micro35. Manuals are of less use these days, so they are usually cheaper, as well.
You will also need to find lenses that are as wide open as possible, since you will lose some light through all of the extra glass. You should really go to their website, though, and check it out for yourself.

Germany eh? I was raised there, I'm actually going to have a worst problem and mine is I don't know which to go with, the micro 35 or the guerilla 35, both looked good, the micro looked alittle more crisp though, for a feature or something.

I use Nikons. Most people use Nikons. Quality, easy to find, cheap. Need I say more?

I agree, a set of nikon primes is good.
28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8, 85mm f2, 135mm f2.8 would be a great starting set...and cheap, if you got old manual AI or AIS glass.
