Sorry, this is from their website..."I asked whether the movie was filmed on film versus DV, a question I was pretty sure I knew the answer to (since I love film) and sure enough I was right, it was shot on 35mm film."

Here is the technical specs I found for the film:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0389139/technical
The web link they have on imdb matches the one I found. So I am talking about the same film.
And to my eyes, it did look like DVX.
All the best

Araujofh,
this is a direct quote from the director about the film in Movies Online magazine.."Unlike most aspiring filmmakers trying to break through with a digitial video production, Stevan chose to make his personally financed debut movie on 35mm Kodak film. Most go to DV since it is cheaper and they can shoot as much as they want. Steve wanted 35mm and the great quality shows in the films trailer."
Im not trying to beat a dead horse but I think its important to know what is film and what is DV. Also in the "crew" page on their website you can clearly see the Cinematographer using what looks like an Arri 35mm camera.
Cheers

Hi Raptor,
You are right. I had a look at the site.
I guess the details on imdb are wrong.
But that image looks crap for 35mm.
All the best

I actually looked at it before anyone answered this and thought hmmm i've seen better footage on the dvx and closed it. Now that i found out it was on film i realise even more it takes more then film or good DV to achive the expensive movie look.
