I had a friend that worked in a processing lab and can tell you that they always get processed, but they don't necessarily get sent back to you. Not to worry, even if you don't someone will be enjoying them.

Another reason why I shoot digital. Buy an Epson 2400 (or better/bigger) calibrate your monitor, scanner and printer and print them yourself - this is what I do, and I do a fair amount of it...

Find a professional house, as long as your not shooting something illegal, you won't have to worry.

What was even funnier was the fact that they had a bulletin board just out of sight of the customers with all the really interesting ones printed as 8x10's. They had some really interesting nick names for a lot of the customers. How they ever kept a straight face when they worked at the counter I'll never know.

Doesn't make as much sense as it should...said involvement should have resulted ina call to the police...

From my own experience working in a photo store/processing lab (I worked more in sales than in the lab), most pro shops will process nude pics as long as they don't depict anything illegal. Course of action when something illegal is depicted depends on the shop...

Most Walgreens, Costcos, etc. will not print them, however they should give your negatives back to you...then you can take them to a real lab for prints.

I'm sure the infamous "wall of photos" exists plenty of places, but if you're dealing with a pro lab the risk is minimized. These folks see plenty of crazy stuff in photos. Your average nude, or even pr0n shot, isn't shocking to them. That said, since I worked there, I print mine at home ;-)

i worked at walgreens for a year... we developed nude pictures but if it was suspected that the subjects were underage, we would not finish developing and would destroy the photos.

but dang, i've seen some funny shit. i dont work there any more, thank god =)

i've seen my share of naked pictures in artschool (naked people for that matter) Naked artists are not somthing I would enjoy looking at. But my point is that artschools have a very hard time saying what is porn and what is art so they let anything slide.
(by artschools I mean conceptual BS schools)
