Those look very good. I really want to see the commercial, it looks funny. Imagine that, advertising for a commercial. Oh well, got my attention! :)

I remember Patryk from way back on 2-Pop. Very, very talented!

Hey Patryk, you did some unfinished video that had some rotoscoped refrigerators in it, and some awesome framing and DOF. Can you post a link to that?

Yep -- that's it!

This is one of the early DVX videos, probably the first one that I saw that had my jaw slap on the floor and convinced me that the DVX was the "real deal". I don't have the slightest idea what it's about, there's no audio, but just for visual imagery and richness and texture, I thought it was very well done.

It also shows what a little production design can do for you...

... and cleverly used shallow DOF the way the DVX can deliver it, by having out-of-focus FOREGROUNDS and sharp-focus backgrounds.

Too bad you never finished it, it looked like an awful lot of work just to go unfinished...

I second Barry, really nice photography. Very good work man! *

Were all videos in the site filmed with the dvx? What settings did you use in tomorrow's film on the dvx and overall ligth setup?

Keep doing the good work and us informed of it's progress!

Hey Patryk I looked at your site. Those 3D manipulations of stills is cool stuff. I've seen variations of that technique, but not quite like that. (http://www.patrykrebisz.com/3d_work/Boat.htm)

Is this a technique from some off the shelf software? Or is this some kind of proprietary thing you developed?

If its proprietary you should take it to the History Channel, VH1, PBS and lots others and sell the technique (or make your own doc and make some waves!) It would really freshen up a lot of documentary programming.

If it's your little secret you developed, keep it to yourself and make some money! If not, tell us!

Yo guys thanks a lot for your positive feedback.

All the films were shot with DVX100 except a few early ones that were shot with PD150. I usually use standart setup -- nothin to fancy and do heavy color correction in the post.

Right now i'm working on a doc about pioniers of hiphop and we got lots of photos by famous photographers of the period (70s and 80s) and we are doing lost of those 3D moves (my own techique) so the dock should look really sweet.

I'll update you guys when thing go online.

That image manipulation has been done before by Telenium for verizon. they took a tricycle and a motorcyle next to each other to show DSL speed and dial up and did some weird stretching on it like that. They did 3 diff spots from what i remember.
