Hi Guys,

After messing around with squeezers and hosting servers, I've manage to get my film footage online. Please note that is unfinished (90% on the way), and there is still some tunings to be done in color correction, music, counter at the right,.. (and of course change outkast music at the credits :) )

This is a downloadable version,28MB. Hope you enjoy, this is my first film. Updated version, subtitled:

http://www.streamload.com/danielxm/films/The_Script_subtitled.mov

Resume: *The story is about a young student writer "Jorge" who needs to make a film in 5 minutes. He than smashes into a famous filmwriter home office asking help. The astonished writer "CID", helps "Jorge" after realising that "The script" they are doing is actually the film being shown "film of the film concept". How will they manage to write the script in 5 minutes? Throung rewind/forward of the film and accelaration technics they finally end accomplishing their objective.

Daniel,

This was really great! Story, acting, camera lighting. Everything.
Well done man!!!

Now, deixa de ser preguicoso and add some subtitles because it isn't fair for the others.

I really liked everything. The story going back to the past and moving to the future. Brilliant!!!

All the best

Fidel.

Forgot to say about the part where Jorge tells Cid that he should do some courses.

That was really funny!!!

All the best

Very nice work. How did you get that rotating overhead shot at the beginning?

Hi Guys,

Thanks!

Araujo, will try to get the subtitles the sooner!

Disjecta, I used dollys and mini-jibs on the shots. The rotating shot was done with a mini-jib (set at 9'higth) and 2 heads attached to it, one above the other. The set up of the two heads made it possible for the camera to fully tilt down for framing, and I just had to manually pan the below head(the one attached to the mini-jib) to get the effect.

Ok Guys!

Got the subtitled verison link re-published on the first post. Enjoy!

uuooohhh! Am I tired? Yeah! kept doing the dubtitles, I mean subtitles till 3 am! hehe :P

Ok, I learned a lesson. Never to publish abroad w/o subtitles. hehe

hhmm At least this is not necessary for video-clips!! Or is it? ;D
