I'm looking at buying a Powerbook and was wondering if anyone out there has any experience buying Apple Certified Refurbished products. The price is right, but this will be my first Mac and I'm not sure that I should chance it on a refurb.
Thoughts?
Thanks.

GO FOR IT!!
It's one of the only, if not THE only company I'd buy a refurbished product from. Their warrantee is as good as with a new product (IIRC), and you can always get the added warrantee also (probably recommended for a Powerbook anyway).
I bought an eMac refurb, and it was virtually new.

I agree, Apple takes great care in their refurbished products.

Hmm, your spelling police has a one track mind: it can be both, warrantee and warranty.

I bought a referb G4 tower about 4 years ago. It's been powered on almost 24/7 most of the time since and all is still well.
I trust them!
