Super 8 Canon 814 Autozoom lightmeter

Does anyone own this little camera. I just got one and works fine and very clean.

Only issue... obviously the light meter. I'm using slightly higher voltage batteries thus resulting in an inaccurate exposure. I'm having a difficult time gauging how to plus/minus the lightmeter reading. I assume the ratio should be constant.

I have a Canon autozoom as well. Only 2 methods work for exposing film properly with it:

1. Use a hand held meter with manual exposure over-ride (it works great!).

2. I still like to use the auto meter for back-up and convenience purposes. To get it working you need to order special 1.4V "Zinc Air" batteries. I got them from here: www.spectrafilmandvideo.com. They keep these batteries in stock. They know all about super 8 cameras and what you need to get them running. :thumbsup:
