So is this the same lens that i disliked on the xl2? Except it's black and is HD? A true manual lens like the one they discontinued, i believe the 14x ? that would be nice.

It appears to be identical to the 20x from the XL2 as far as controls and operation.
There is a GREAT SD 16X lens... amazing glass for the price. The HD lens looks to be the same... we'll see. There are some more menu options so who knows....
