I'll stop blowing DVdoctor's trumpet shortly, but I've just put up some high res screen grabs of the Canon Console software over there (http://forums.dvdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=35370), on the forums - where there is, I think, some other info and tech background that may not be in this XL H1 forum yet.

Yes indeed I did get banned by Pinnacle - for saying that Studio 10 would definitely have a new code base - and one derived from the company's Liquid program.
And, of course, that's exactly what Pinnacle announced a week or so back when it unveiled Studio 10 (not that I'd been banned; that Studio 10 had a Liquid code base!).
Mind you, my son signed up recently on the Pinnacle forums so I used his account not so long ago to fill in some details after Studio 10 had been announced.

OT:
I'm sure you can get back in now (unless you were banned for life). They let "Sabastion" back in and have a new set of moderators. Joe Figura's out of Pinnacle/Avid altogether now and Jim Thill took Joe's place on the forums as our Pinnacle/Avid contact with the engineers. You could probably drop an email to Lew Shatzer (aka "LewS") and he'd probably get you reinstated if you want.
