How do I get the signal from a mic connected to Channel 1 also recorded on Channel 2?
Also, is it possible to set each channel at different levels? Can I have a mic connected to channel 1 at one level, feed that signal over to channel 2 and set the channel two pot a little lower as a saftey?
Thanks!

Yes, when you open the LCD, you will see the two switches for the source of the mic signal. Set both switches to the same input jack and the level pot for each channel can be set independently.

Actually, you can only route Mic 2 input to both channels. Mic 1 can only be routed to channel 1, where Mic 2 can be routed to both.

what settings route the signal from Channel 2 to Channel 1? How do I make the camera do this?

Yes, it's called the operating manual....

I think that someone around here can often be heard to say something like...
R.T.F.M.
but really, who reads the manual except as a last resort?
It is so much easier to go on line, type out your question, wait for a few posts and see if you have an answer. Much simpler than a keyword search on a PDF version of the owner's manual.
