I was wondering if this lense would work on the canon 10D? It says only compatible with the 20D and digital rebel, but would it still work on the 10D?

By the way, I know this is a pretty lame lense, but at this point I don't have alot of $$ to spend on a lense, and I just want something to fool around with.

Look on ebay for a lens. I don't think this one will work with a 10D...must say it for a reason.

The 18-55mm Lense is a Digital Rebel and 20D Lense. It is not compatible with the 10D or any Canon Film cameras, as their mirrors are larger and will hit the rear of this lens. I can not give an answer yet for the new Canon D-5.

I've heard the same thing...the 18-55 won't work on the 10D. Seems stupid since the sensor size is the same on the 10D and 20D...

Best thing to do is go into a decent camera store and try one on...
