If so, what is your AUW?

I just got and have been tweaking (it was already built by the previous owner) a DJI F550 flamewheel hex. I love it, but I'm trying to get things balanced, and without a gimbal it is already at 3.6lb / 1.63gr. It has the e300 system with 4S - 6000mah - 25c LIPO and stock props (9.5" ?)

It flies, but drifts a bit so I'm trying to rebalance. My main concern is burning up the motors/bearings lifting too much.

Thoughts?

Many DJI owners on the likes of the F550 tend to upgrade the arms or motors, usually to Tiger motors. There's a fair amount of flex in the F550 frame so it can cause jello on heavy lift rigs, a cheap carbon fibre frame such as those from Tarot is a good upgrade route. Generally I think the F550 is best suited to a GoPro and nothing heavier.
