Sample Clips (http://www.clipshack.com/ClipView.aspx?id=o8Zlfn5996DbyecUlSD6OQ**)

The clips are pretty compressed. The uncompressed clips are about 300 MB. Anyone got a clue what I should do to make it not that big but still keep it at a very good quality??? Some advice are appreciated :)

intresting! anyways, if you're looking for another alterative free filehosting site. www.clipshack.com is another place where you can upload your movies.

Try encoding with Quicktime 7 H.264.

try encoding to uncompresssed (or lighlty compressed such as Mjpeg ) SD size before compressing down to your final target web file, also add slight sharping filter to the orignal HDV file so that the downconversion survives (keeps the details)

Jeremy,

Was that movie shot with the Sony HC1? If it is pretty good resolution.
