For the past couple weeks, i've been watching the new series "Over There" on FX. Im not going to talk about what I think of the show because I believe each person has their own opinion, and reasons for them. What I am asking is, I'm sure it is shot on film, if not, does anybody know what they shoot on? If it is film-produced, what cam series are they shooting with? (sorry if somebody has alreasy talked about this, I couldnt find anything in the search)
I don't know what is shot with. But kind of like the show. Some people think its anti military. I just don't see that myself.
Some of the places look like its from a MASH set.

I don't know what film stock they shoot on, but I know it is with Panavision cameras. They also probably have an Arri 435 for high speed work.
My friend is on the show, and I was planning on visiting the set sometime soon, so I will try and find out more. I also know it is shot mostly on Blue Cloud ranch in Lancaster, CA.

I got a promo disc that had the first 20 minutes of the first episode on it. Seemed interesting, I wanted to watch the rest.
What time is it on?

I saw one episode of it, it looks pretty good. I really like the look they gave it, it's gritty and raw, sort of like a black hawk down/saving private ryan look. I wish I could visit the set!
