New User Group Forming in San Francisco!

They Bay Area Video Coalition is proud to announce that it will be forming a user group for DVX and other 24p camera users for the entire Bay Area.

I will be hosting the group and making sure the group gets off the ground.

I put out a feeler for a while back about when a good day to have the group would be - the consensus appeared to be that a weekend evening would be best.

I would appreciate a show of ascii from y'all to find out who would participate in the group so I can have an idea of what to expect when the inaugural meeting is held. I would like to have the inaugural meeting in the month of September or October, to occur every month there after.

Looking forward to meeting some of my DVX comrades in the Bay Area!

I'm sorta interested, but I'm only 18 and an amatuer, would you still want me to come? I'm no super expert I'm sure there would be some people throwing out some film school terms and I'll just be like "wha?"

Everyone, and I mean everyone is welcome to attend the group. I currently host a 3D animation users group at the same facility and its been running strong almost two years. People of all sorts of abilities there to inspire, instruct, and to share.

I'll begin the work to get the meeting off the ground.
