Hi everyone,

I'm shooting a short on Mini35 here in Vancouver August 16, 17, and 18th. The budget doesn't allow for Zeiss primes so we are opting for the Nikkor lenses. The budget actually only allows for two lenses and I was wondering if I would be okay using these (after a full day of testing):

Nikkor AF 35-70mm f2.8 D Lens
Nikkor AF 80-200mm f2.8 Lens

I'm assuming this will cover my wide, normal, and telephoto range. Anyone have any issues or suggestions that I should be concerned about? A CAvision follow-focus can't be attached to this without some kind of gear ring right? Any solutions for a follow-focus attachment???

Thanks!

Norm

I know that 80-200 was used on an Apple shoot with the Mini35 and it looked great. You should check the lens forums at redrockmicro.com for some suggestions. I know Brian Valente (sp) on there has a good list of Nikons to acquire, but I think yours should have you covered unless you need something really wide like a 24mm.

Hope this helps. I've got my M2 on order and have just started looking at glass.
