Yeah, it looks like a commercial version of Mark Tucker's Plungercam.

I've been sort of tempted to get one, but the samples I've seen don't look all that impressive. Then again Mark Tucker's not doing the shooting. :) It's a cheap enough toy, though.

I have seen a lens baby in action, not that easy to get what you want at first . . . maybe with practice :)

What bothers me about the lens baby is that they started out with a $99 lens baby that is a f2.8 and now have a 2.0 model that uses magnetic force to attached the aperture rings to the lens for $149. You have to manually insert the correct aperture F8, f11, etc. onto the lens assembly. No electronics works on your camera. It seems that for a lens of this type which is very cheap that they would have just made the improvement and kept the price the same. I tried one on a demo cam at the PPA convention last year and it was fun. But, they are approaching the price of cheaper macro lenses. It is, after all, just a toy.
