heres a dolly I came up with in about 2 minutes. I actually just used it this morning for a tennis short I came up with. its good on smooth surfaces with no cracks. I suggest not using something like this on a side walk or road of course which is obvious why. due to the noise it would make. but for the tennis courts it was perfect the surface was flawless with no cracks or rough.

you can always use masonite cut a little bit wider than the skateboard to lay on rough surfaces.

wrench down the bushings on the skateboard to help take out any wobbles...

Great idea ..i have to film a scene on a dirt road . since i don't have a dolly i was thinking of modifying an old bicycle, take the chain off and modify the seat post to hold the DVX . A co- worker suggested a 3 wheeler would be more stable .HMMM has anyone done this , it should work , what do you think ...Ian

Why not just put the camera in the back of a pickup and have a couple of grips push the thing? I can't imagine anything wlse but laying track will work.
