Hi guys need help
creating video for large panoramic display
aspect ratio is 81,8
i need to know the pixel width and height
thanks in advance

You need to tell more info about the projection/display device(s) used in order to figure out what multiple you should apply to your ratio.

We are creating a video in after effects to drop into a maya model representing a stage with a video array that is in 81:8 aspect ratio and need to know the pixel width and height for the after effects composition

Well, your width will be x*81 and your height will be y*8. If your playback device is only capable of 1080p, then your width should be the full 1920 and the height should be 1920/81*8 = 190 px high.

I have no experience with Maya, but you already have your pixel dimensions...81x8, or 810 by 80, or 1280 by 126...

81/8 = 10.125

Pick your horizontal pixel dimension that works for the content and then divide by 10.125 to get your comp's height.

And just to be clear, you are making a video; the 81:8 panorama screen you refferd to is an element in this video?

Yes correct it is an element in the Maya file and thankyou so much for the help guys
so to reitterate pick my horizontal pixel dimension divide by 10.125 to get the height
correct
