AE Template

I downloaded this template but need to put in my own text.
Can anyone help?

I have AE and opened it for the VERY FIRST time ever, LOL. I thought it would be easy like a
motion template. I got about five errors about missing files. The only one I understood was missing font.
I'm guessing someone who uses AE a lot would have accrued most of the files I'm missing.

If you can help or guide, let me know. I can send you the zip.
If there's a charge, I'll see what I can do.
The text I'm trying to insert:

THE CEREBOLIN PROJECT

Format: AF100 or (HD 1080 X 1920, 24p, ProRes)

Meanwhile, I'm going to youtube some tutorials.

25 views, no takers. Perhaps I should go back to the AF100 section?
I watched a tutorial and I'm half way through.
The zip had a readme.txt file but it's still thoroughly incomplete.
I think the file presupposes some experience with AE.
I'm learning...I bet someone proficient could have done this by now.

If AE is looking for missing files, do an update or reload of the clips and point them to the project folder. If the files are missing, contact the seller of the template. If it's missing footage or stills, they should have come with the template and all be in the same folder. If it's missing filters or effects, the template's seller should have noted which plugins you need to make it work (usually Particular's a popular one).

Did you move the AE project file (.AEP) to a different folder than the zip you purchased?

To update the text, just make sure the text layer is unlocked (it can help to lock all the other layers) and double click it with the arrow tool - which will turn into the text tool.
