Hi All,
I love this forum and wanted to give a little back. I just made a shock mount that turned out pretty nice. It took about 1.5 hours to make and ended up looking pretty professional. If you need a shotgun shock mount you might want to take a peek on my site. I'll add a blimp windscreen, carbon fiber boom pole and pistol grip in the next week or so.

Well done.
You can even make your own windsock for it from Fake fur ( Draper / fabric shop)
It s real cheap and works. ( Important - must be fake fur, not real)
I made all mine instead of paying the exhorbitant rates asked.
A simple sewing job .... make a tube fur side in (inside out) and sew the seam... turn it fur side out and voila - windsock.

Shooter - How do you keep the windsock off the mic? An internal wire frame?
As to the mount, I couldn't agree more - nice job!

:) Sparked this memory:
The Modern Hiawatha
He killed the noble Mudjokivis.
Of the skin he made him mittens,
Made them with the fur side inside,
Made them with the skin side outside.
He, to get the warm side inside,
Put the inside skin side outside.
He, to get the cold side outside,
Put the warm side fur side inside.
That's why he put the fur side inside,
Why he put the skin side outside,
Why he turned them inside outside.
