Found this old tape today in a box.. I forgot all about this footage...

So, a year or two ago I was working on my own 35mm lens adapter and this is more or less the results of that effort. Yah, I made one of those crazy things, too. Mine was pretty unique as it performed the "flip" with optics, so what you see here is directly copied off the tape, minus a few clips I cut out, then exported to a Quicktime 7 file.

There is no post color correction or any other kind of processing on this clip. I guess I'm kind of happy about that or something. I don't know. This is over a year old and was shot on a Sony 1CCD Handycam, outdoor white balance, and some kind of fake movie look effect it had on there. I think it was called "flash" or "trail" or something. This is probably the only clip I will ever post from that little gadget, so enjoy.

Warning: handheld shaky cam !

I thought this was nice. Nice choice of music and your use of shallow DOF was almost poetic. It's a shame if this is all we'll see from that 35mm experiment. This is one of the nicer examples of those accesories I have seen; of course I had to blur the edges and add my own film-like qualities to it. I was going for a 16mm or Super8 feel.

This is well worth the DL. It felt bigger than what it was. Like a small clip from life or a film.
